What requirements are in place for my trip?

1. Completion of the electronic epidemiological health pass form which can be found at https://salud.go.cr/

2. RT-PCR diagnostic test within 72 hours of travel to Costa Rica.

3. International or national medical insurance which will cover up to $50,000 in medical costs and $2,000 accommodation costs related to the pandemic.

4. All visitors must comply with protocols in place for hand hygiene and mask usage.

In addition, US citizens will need to show ID or a driver’s license to prove residency in one of the permitted States.
